FADA SHELBOURNE
E-RYT 200

Fada’s Yoga practice began in 2012 as a way to recover from trauma and mend physically from years of dance and grueling eighty-hour work weeks. This practice grew into a passion and over the past seven years, Fada has fully embraced the lifestyle and identity metamorphoses brought about by practicing, studying, and living her Yoga. Though Fada never planned to teach others, her life was changed once again after meeting her teacher, Anna Argeropoulos, in January of 2016 and was inspired to complete her 200-Hour Certification 11 months later.

Fast forward to now! By combining the skills gained from training in Trauma-Informed Yoga practices and Integrated Yoga Therapy with the knowledge garnered from advanced degrees in Psychology and Education, Fada is able to serve a diverse range of students in the work of becoming aware of and fully experiencing the nuances of their energetic, emotional, and physical bodies through Yogic expression.

Fada brings a unique flavor to her classes and always seeks to challenge both mind and body through intentional, creative, and expressive flows. She truly believes in Yoga as a tool for engaging, manifesting and polishing the multi-faceted aspects of our existence as extraordinary beings both on and off of the mat.
