Urban Om Flow
This is a fast-paced, creative vinyasa flow class that is attainable for all levels. Modifications will be provided for beginners as well as the advanced student looking to challenge their practice. Expect to experiment with arm balances and inversions, increase your heart rate and sweat; all the best ways to challenge the body and the mind.
Sub-urban slow flow
This is a slow-paced flow class that provides all students with deep alignment instruction and breath control. It’s a great way to learn how to connect deep breathing techniques with the asanas (the physical practice) of yoga at a much more accessible speed. The class will involve some challenging strength building, but will also provide a well-rounded amount of relaxation. This class is designed for all levels.
urban awakening - alignment flow
This is an alignment-based yoga class where the use of blocks and straps is encouraged for the individual to find proper and safe opening within each asana. Poses are held for several breaths and connected with flowing transitions. This is a perfect class for all levels and especially those looking to discover the therapeutic benefits of adding props to their practice.
urban symmetry - yin + Yang
Find your inner symmetry with a combined active yang flow and a restorative yin practice. You will have ample time to generate your inner heat followed by time and space to release and restore in traditional yin postures. This class will give you the best of both worlds, and you will leave feeling stronger and more flexible.
Urban Sprawl - Yin
Yin is a counter balance to a yang practice or an active/busy lifestyle and helps to relieve chronic muscle tension, inflammation and pain. Deep stretching floor poses are held between 2-5 minutes to open the connective tissue, benefiting the joints, fascia, bursa, ligaments, and tendons of the body (the Yin tissues). The perfect practice for those seeking a gentle approach to yoga.
Urban MKE - Happy Hour
This is a fast-paced class that will experiment with creative transitions between poses, involves playtime leading into funky arm balances, and focuses on poses that help build greater strength and stability in inversions. With playful flows and a hip-hop infused playlist, this is the perfect release from your week and start to your weekend.
